Just a big thank you for our Junior Wildlife Experience on Tuesday.  We had a great time, we always do, and we are looking forward already to booking another one next year (which will be our fifth).

We love everything especially the wallabies and babydoll sheep and it was great to meet the mini donkeys.  My sister Heather says can you get some Chinchillas by next year as she wants to feel their lovely fur!
Thank you again for a great day – Seaview is our favourite place on the Island.

Animal Keeper/Presenter/Wildlife Host vacancy

A vacancy has arisen for a seasonal Animal Keeper/Presenter and Wildlife Host for the 2015 season - Immediate start to October.
The role will involve all animal husbandry duties across all sections of the Park as well as hosting our extremely popular Wildlife Encounters and daily Keeper Presentations.  Therefore, applicants will need to be physically fit, hard working, reliable and be able to work well within a team or on their own.
Giving talks and presentations to large audiences is a large part of the job so an out going confidant person with a fun personality is required.
A qualification in Animal Management or related is advantageous but previous experience working within this type of industry is essential.
Accommodation and transport arrangements are not provided.
The closing date for applications is Friday April 24th 2015.

This is a great place to visit. My little boy loves the penguin and wallaby feeds and we spent a very pleasurable 4 hours here. The keepers are friendly, knowledgeable and rather hot - extra pleasure for the dads!
