Wildlife Encounters

Despite the questionable weather over the past few days, we have had the privilege of taking our V.I.P. guests on their personal VIP encounters. The rain may have left us a little damp, but it certainly hasn’t dampened our spirits.

Below is Emma Lay who took part in a a Junior Wildlife Experience and after her day at Seaview her favourite were the Wallabies.

Below is Zara who also had booked a Junior Wildlife Experience and although she said she didn't have any favourites, she enjoyed it all and commented that she
“Never thought I’d get so close to a meerkat!”

Next up was Louis Head aged 9 who joined us on Tuesday for his Junior Wildlife Experience, Unfortunately the weather was not on his side, but it didn’t seem to wash away his smile and even after two hours out in the rain, he had just as much enthusiasm on his departure compared to his arrival.

Nicola and Susan (Pictured below) where next up for their ‘Combo Encounter’ and they both enjoyed each part to their Experience.
Below is Lauren Hornby age just 6 years old who took to being a Meerkat keeper like a duck to water. And after scattering the food around the enclosure had some fun time with the gang, and judging by the smiles I think its safe to say she had a great time.

Thursday, Sarah took part in a Penguin Encounter to celebrate her 30th Birthday, and travelled from Dorset for her Visit to the park. And unfortunately the weather once again took a nasty turn, but Dippy was soon on hand, to give a warm welcome and after a traditional penguin hug we all soon forgot about the cold.
Yesterday was Emma and Megan’s turn to have a penguin Experience and help Charlotte feed our very hungry Humboldt Penguins, and what a great job they did, and after they had a full stomach they soon rewarded the ladies with plenty of attention.
Finally we entertained Emily who spent the day working along side all the Animal Care Team experiencing her ‘Keeper For a Day’ and although she enjoyed the whole day, her favourite part was Bugs and Reptiles!

Thanks to all our Encounter guests, you all were a pleasure to work with and we hope that you have been left with some great memories to cherish for year’s to come.
Do you fancy a VIP Encounter? Why not book one via our website?
See you soon from all the Team at Seaview Wildlife.

Wildlife Encounters worth sharing!

Over the past few days our visitors have enjoyed the warm, sunny weather with us here on the Isle of Wight!  Those guests who booked One-on-One Wildlife Encounters with us all said how much they’d enjoyed their special experiences – made all the more magical by the extra dose of blue skies and sunshine!
Below is Win Isaacson whose husband, Neville, treated her to a surprise Penguin Encounter for her birthday.

Below are Jessica Boulay and Eleanor Worley from Surrey who had a great time with Dippy and his pals on Saturday.
Junior Wildlife Experience, James Cobb (aged nearly 10, pictured below) could hardly contain his enthusiasm – he loved all the animals so much that my colleague, Grace, could hardly get him to sit still long enough to capture photos!  James said he was extremely lucky to see a duckling that had just hatched and added that his favourite animals are the Wallabies.

Rachel Cundall (below) said of her Penguin Encounter “It was amazing; I would definitely do it again!”.  Fern, who was Rachel’s guide and photographer during her Encounter said that Dippy gave Rachel one of his proper Penguin cuddles (normally reserved for the Keepers!)

Debra Percy’s birthday present from her friend Michelle Liddelow was a Penguin Encounter this morning.  These two ladies (pictured below) had a wonderful time; they thoroughly enjoyed their Encounter and the glorious weather!

Thank you to all our V.I.P. Guests for choosing a one-on-one Wildlife Experience with us here at Seaview Wildlife Encounter!
