Dippy's World Cup Press Release

DIPPY THE PENGUIN'S WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE!!

Dippy's dream of playing for England has actually come true! His obsessive pool practice and taking shots at the entrance of his cave has finally paid off! He has been selected to be the replacement striker in the last qualifying game against Slovenia.

Dippy was seen strutting his stuff in his England shirt earlier today with a few of his penguin pals at Seaview Wildlife Encounter on the Isle of Wight (his home and training ground). Asked to comment on this life changing selection, Dippy said..." It was a shock to be asked to play, but I will do my fellow penguins proud...and I could do with the £180,000 a week - I have quite a few groovy, gorgeous WAG penguins here at Seaview Wildlife so to keep them in the prawn, crab and lobster champagne life style that they have become accustom too I will have to play my best game yet!"

Captured on film earlier today as he was preparing to jet off to Cape Town, this image shows that Dippy is undoubtedly England's p..p..p..proudest p..p..p..pro p..p..p..penguin of them all!
