Dippy received a request last week to be the guest of honour at the Ice Dance and Figure Skating Club event at Ryde Ice Rink. Accompanied by Head Keeper Craig and Keeper Jake, Dippy welcomed competitors and spectators and made a number of new friends. He had a great time waddling around, taking in the scenery; seeming to thoroughly enjoy all the extra attention. This is the second time that Dippy has been to the Rink and on both occasions he has behaved as though this was his regular social hang-out! I've included a couple of images to share the fun of the outing with you. It wasn't only Dippy and his new friends who had a good time - check out the image of Jake on his knees having fallen over on the ice!
